International Cooperation

Initiatives to foster international cooperation form an indispensable part of the over-all policy of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. This is intended to promote the integration of the university into the European and global educational environment. VNU directs its efforts toward the development and broadening of international relations with various educational institutions; to an increase in prestige among educational institutions throughout the world; and to the improvement of the professional qualifications of faculty members and ultimately of students by means of programs involving academic cooperation between VNU and various educational institutions in other countries.

Participation in international projects

The multilateral project “European Center of Education”, funded by the European Foundation for Regional Development, ІNTERREG IIIA/Tacis СВС Program, Poland-Belarus-Ukraine has been set up between VNU and the College of International Communication and Social Communication in Chelm (Poland). The documents relating to this project were signed in Lutsk on Oct. 16, 2006. The project implementation period is from January 2007 to April 2008.
