“Dyvotsvit” was organized in 1992 at the Philology Department. The company enjoyed  great popularity owing to support of the former dean of this department Professor O. Rysak and former director of the Institute of Physical Culture and Health Professor V. I. Zavadsky. At that time “Dyvotsvit” became the creative company that was constantly having concerts in Lutsk and other towns of our region (Khorohiv, Kamin-Kashyrsky, Lyubeshiv). In 1996 this company had success in the solo concert dedicated to the 50^th anniversary of Lviv Institute of Physical Culture and Sport.

For 12 years of its creative activity “Dyvotsvit” has given more than 100 concerts. This group also took part in the Ukrainian national festival “Lesyna Pisnya” that became international soon afterwards. “Dyvotsvit” won a lot of prizes and diplomas.

The biggest achievement and acknowledgement of the company is its participation in the 12^th Insternational Hutsul Festival than was held in the picturesque mountaneous town Kosiv (Ivano-Frankivsk region) where the company became the prizewinner.

“Dyvotsvit” is a constant participant of the concerts held in Lesya Ukrainka Volyn State University. The members of the group are the students of different departments (the Institute of Art including) but mainly they are the students of the Pedagogical Department (its former dean is Professor L. P. Kalapusha, now – the Associate Professor B. B. Kotsun).

Petro Yusypchuk is the constant leader of “Dyvotsvit”.
