higher mathematics and computer science

The head of the chair is candidate of physics and mathematics, assistant professor Tetiana Ivanivna Mamchych. The chair was founded in 2000 to provide teaching of higher mathematics and computer science for the other specialities. 9 instructors work at this chair (4 of them are candidates of science, assistant professors). The chair provides teaching of higher mathematics, the principles of computer science and computer engineering techniques, statistical methods in sociology and psychology.

Scientific research laboratory in applied statistics is active at the chair.
